Registration and Program Fees

Welcome! Be sure to review the following information prior to registering with APRA - there are several new processes being introduced this season - the link to register is at the bottom of this page. 

REGISTER for the FALL WINTER 2023/24 SEASON Today!

APRA members will again be using the RAMP Registration system to enrol for the FALL WINTER Season. First-time users of the system will be required to create an account (families are able add all household members to a single account). Please register and provide your required payment as soon as possible to help support the association's planning activities, including team formation, scheduling, and season ice purchases. Once officially registered and payment has been received in full, you will be insured and able to participate in all Ringette Ontario sanctioned activities.

NEW THIS SEASON: 

• Players are to REGISTER with the association where they will be playing for the upcoming FALL WINTER SEASON.

• CURRENT INSURANCE expires on JUNE 15, 2023 - register before this date to ensure continuous coverage through June 15, 2024, and, SAVE $50 on your 2023/24 Registration Fees if you pay prior to June 15th! (Early Bird Discount applies to FUN, U12-U19, and 18+ REC Programs).

• ALL PLAYERS (including 18+REC participants) that register with APRA this season will pay AJAX PICKERING RINGETTE directly for their Ringette Ontario membership fees and insurance (last season this cost was not included in the club’s registration fees and members paid Ringette Ontario direct for these fees). As a result, registration fees have increased over the previous year to incorporate this additional cost - FUN1 and FUN2 (+$48.75); FUN3/U10 to 18+ (+$62.25).

• APRA is expanding our U10 (FUN3) programming - suitable for players who demonstrate that they have acquired the physical, cognitive, and social readiness for more challenging play. This group plays full-sized ringette, inter-regional league games, and programming includes bi-weekly, on-ice development sessions (Skaters and Goalies). Teams typically collect additional player fees and manage individual team budgets over and above association registration fees in order to participate in local and out-of-town tournaments, purchase off-ice team wear, and to support additional team building activities. *The targeted age group for U10 (FUN3) is players born in 2014; however, the association will consider placement at this level for players born in 2013 and 2015. NOTE: Players unsure if they are ready to progress to FUN3 are still eligible to register for FUN2. 

OTHER NOTES and REMINDERS:

• APRA BOARD MEMBERS, COACHES and TEAM STAFF, and other VOLUNTEERS -

  • ALL volunteers with the association are required to register with APRA and comply with Ringette Ontario’s Screening Policy. Please be sure you are aware of these requirements and note that the screening process must be completed prior to the start of the 2023/24 season.

  • APRA will continue to pay for your Ringette Ontario membership and insurance fees (there will be NO charge added during the registration session).    

  • It is recommended that ALL VOLUNTEERS review the following information prior to registering > CLICK HERE.

• NEW REGISTRANTS - One parent of every ringette player under the age of 18 is required to take the Respect in Sport Parent Program before participating in ringette programming. This course is mandatory to have the Player’s registration approved. The Respect in Sport Parent Program is a one-hour online module for parents/guardians, reinforcing their role in their child’s activities, encouraging positive sports behaviours, and providing insight into the various roles other individuals play, such as coaches and officials. You will need to include your RISP certification # on the RAMP registration site when you register your athlete. For more information, CLICK HERE.

• ALL MEMBERS - Review the Government approved Concussion Safety and Educational materials BEFORE you register. Each year it is a mandatory requirement that all members review the age-appropriate, government approved Concussion Awareness Resources as per the requirements laid out in Rowan's Law. During registration, you will be required to acknowledge having read these materials, and, to comply with Ringette Ontario's Concussion Code of Conduct. Links to these documents are provided below:

CHILDREN'S Programs:

Payment deadline is October 11th.

• FUN1/FUN2 - Returning Players - $499
• FUN1/FUN2- New to Ringette - $399
• EARLY BIRD - Register and Pay before June 15, 2023 and SAVE $50

YOUTH Programs: 

Payment deadline is September 11th.

• FUN3 (U10) - $795
• U12A, U12B - $795
• U14B, U16B - $895
• U14A, U16A - $1195
• U19AA - $1475
• Full-time goalies registered in all APRA Youth Programs pay half price
• EARLY BIRD - Register and Pay before June 15, 2023 and SAVE $50

ADULT Programs:

Payment deadline is September 27th.

• 18+ Recreational Program (i.e. Adult House League) - $535
• Full-time goalies registered in the 18+ Rec Program pay half price
• EARLY BIRD - Register and Pay before June 15, 2023 and SAVE $50

ADULT Teams:

Payment deadline is September 27th.

• 18+ B, BB - $5580 per team
  • Players and Coaches must register; the cost of Ringette Ontario Membership Fees, Dues and Insurance is included within the Team Fees
• 18+ A - $0 per team - players responsible for paying APRA for RO Member
  • Players and Bench Staff must register and will be charged the cost of Ringette Ontario Membership Fees, Dues and Insurance at that time
