Each season, prior to participating in any Ringette activities all Team Staff must register with the Association each and comply with Ringette Ontario & APRA Screening requirements (e.g. Ringette Ontario Screening Policy, Criminal Background Checks).
All Teams must comply with Ringette Ontario's Team Staff Qualification Policy, and all Team Bench Staff must be fully qualified in their roles by November 30th of the current playing season to be an eligible member of the roster. The only exception is for the Competition Introduction Evaluation required of AA coaches (U14AA- head coach only; U16 and U19AA - all coaches), for which the deadline is January 31st.
New Team Staff should first register with the Coaching Association of Canada to obtain their NCCP# (National Coaching Certification Program #) > CLICK HERE.
